Wednesdays at the Weatherford: History Happy Hour in the Gopher Hole

Are you a history buff and/or a fan of discounted drinks? Join us for History Happy Hour, 5-7 p.m. in the Gopher Hole on the first Wednesday of each month. The free event, presented by Weatherford Hotel owners Henry Taylor and Pamela “Sam” Green, is hosted in part by the Townsite Community Land Trust (TCLT).

Learn about our colorful past and hear stories that put Northern Arizona on the map! Guest speaker Jane Jackson will talk about the history of skiing in Flagstaff and the people who took the sport from its introduction on Observatory Mesa in 1915 to the development of Arizona Snowbowl in 1938. You will not want to miss this!
